Public promo code and referral program
As of 13 October 2026, Public publishes no public promo code; through its referral programme a new US customer who deposits at least $1,000 and the friend who invited them each get $100 in a stock or ETF of their choice, and Public separately offers an uncapped 1% match on brokerage and IRA transfers paid monthly over five years.
- Referral: $100 notional value in a stock or ETF chosen from a designated list, for referrer and referee. Standing offer: 'Transfer your portfolio. Earn an uncapped 1% match' on ACATS and IRA transfers (from 9/14/2026), paid in up to 60 equal monthly payments over five years.
- Referrer needs a funded account in good standing. Reward cash value cannot be withdrawn for 12 months after claim (early withdrawal fee up to $100). Max $500 of rewards across Public promotions; one promotion per new signup, not combinable. Program began 20 Jan 2026 and ends at Public's discretion. Transfer match: withdrawals reduce remaining match payments.

Who can claim. US residents only (Public Investing, member FINRA/SIPC; 'US members only'). No UK offer found.
